News has been announced that a brand new Community Diagnostic Centre is coming to Stoke-on-Trent - one of 13 across the country set to open by the end of the year.
Today, the government annouced that they are investing £13.4 million for a brand new unit at the Royal Stoke Hospital Emergency Department to help ambulance transfers and assessments for surgery, freeing up and estimated 50 beds elsewhere in the hospital.
Conservative Party Chairman Greg Hands MP recently visited Stoke-on-Trent to meet local residents and to introduce Parliamentary Candidate Dr Chandra Kanneganti, who will contest the next General Election for the Conservatives in Stoke-on-Trent Central.
"Despite repeated push back from Stoke-on-Trent Conservative Councillors and local Members of Parliament to not have to introduce a temporary CAZ, we were legally mandated to explore options.
