Stoke-on-Trent Conservative’s have today launched their 2019 local election manifesto. On Thursday 2 May, voters in Stoke-on-Trent will have a stark choice between backing the Conservatives’ bold and ambitious plan for the city or return to the days of Labour waste and mismanagement.
Some highlights include the unprecedented £20m investment into road repairs, keeping brown bin collections free for all residents, 30 minutes free parking everyday in every town centre, and proposals to build a world class arena in the city centre, generating jobs and economic regeneration for the city. Stoke Conservatives are also continuing their commitment to the city’s industrial heritage, including restoring Tunstall & Longton Town Halls, as well as pressing ahead with the new home for the city’s spitfire at the Potteries Museum, projects which would be cancelled if Labour were to win in three weeks time.
