Cllr Kelsall was elected to represent the two-member ward of Hanford and Trentham in 2019 and was re-elected to the newly established three-member ward for Hanford, Newstead and Trentham at the 2023 Local Elections.
Rachel is the joint owner of a small business in Longton, and sits as a magistrate. Dedicated to the local environment and its upkeep, Rachel can regularly be seen collecting litter in her ward, often with the help of fantastic residents. A supporter of the armed forces/veterans, she has also champion local community groups and chairs a charitable foundation while being an active member of The Friends of Trentham Mausoleum.
Cllr Kelsall served as Chair of the Strategy and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee between 2019 and 2023.
