Conservative Group - Group Leader
Councillor for Blurton
  • Association Officers
  • City Councillors

Cllr Beardmore was first elected at the 2019 Local Elections, winning the Blurton seat from the Labour Party. Re-elected during the 2023 Local Elections, Lorraine will continue to represent the Blurton ward for the next four years.

From 2020 to 2023, Lorraine served as Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Public Health, bringing drive and focus to her work on the Council during the Covid pandemic.

Lorraine has been instrumental in the growth of the local party, offering leadership and guidance to new members and being a familiar face out on the campaign trail.

Following the 2023 Local Elections, Lorraine was selected by Conservative Council Group members to serve as Group Deputy Leader for the next four years.

Lorraine stepped-up to become interim group leader in November 2025.

Lorraine also sits on the Federation Executive as Treasurer, having previously held the position of Federation Chairman.
