Brown bin collections set to resume in Stoke-on-Trent

Garden waste collections are set to resume in Stoke-on-Trent following the usual temporary halt over winter.

Collections will begin on Friday, March 1 and run until Friday, November 29. The brown bin is suitable for items including grass and hedge cuttings, small branches, plants and leaves, cooked and uncooked food waste, moss, weeds and teabags.

Whilst other local councils are introducing charges for brown bin collections, Stoke Conservatives have committed that if they take control of the City Council in the local elections on Thursday 2nd May they will keep brown bin collections free for all residents. More details can be found here.
